Bhagirath was from the graduating class of 2019. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, with majors in Marketing & Strategy. He first dabbled in Performance Marketing with a summer internship at OCBC Global Enterprise Banking, and was part of Bondue’s Leadership Development Series and SMU United Nations Student Association during his schooling years.
He also completed a UOB-SMU AEI consulting project with a local SME, which encouraged him to pitch a proposal to AEI for a new student club in SMU. This led to the founding of Avente Consulting, the first consulting club focused on SME’s digital transformation. Bringing on board his co-founders to lay the foundations and mentor the pioneer exco, the founders played a key role in shaping the club’s direction – sharing lessons they have learned as excos themselves and giving tailored feedback to the leadership team. The club’s progress thus far continues to surpass expectations and demonstrates the fact that Avente consistently attracts passionate and effective leaders.
Bhagirath is also really into playing video games, watching movies and anything Marvel. (P.S. Feel free to ask him about Captain America’s time paradox in Endgame!)

Danial graduated from SMU in 2019 with a Bachelors in Finance & Strategy. Prior to joining S&P Global Platts, Danial undertook Corporate Banking internships at UniCredit Bank AG and was part of the UNI.CORN Management Programme at DBS. He was also an SME student consultant.
Back in university, Danial served in the Guitar and SICS management committees. In his last year after completing a consulting project under UOB-SMU AEI, Danial, along with 2 other schoolmates, co-founded SMU’s first consulting and implementation club that trains and pairs undergraduates with SMEs to help them adapt to the changing digital landscape. What started out as a small idea turned out to be something that grew beyond our imagination – a testament of the quality of leaders we bring into the club.
Lastly, Danial has been a Liverpool fan convert since the 2005 Champions League Final at Istanbul. He has not converted since. Danial also follows other sports such as UFC & wrestling entertainment during his free time. Apart from intermittently taking part in sport activities, he likes to annoy his younger sister.
